3 Commandos headed to the scrapyard in 2 days!!!!! Located in Sanford.
This is kinda-but-not-really a for sale ad, more of a public service announcement. Putting it here where it might get more views, to hopefully save some parts that somebody might want. These aren't mine, and I don't stand to benefit at all from them. I just hate to see good (?) Jeep parts get gone.
A friend has 3 commandos headed to the scrapyard on FRIDAY. He called to borrow my trailer. All he wants is scrap price (now, about $6 per cwt for any of them). The green one might be sold.... I am not selling, nor will I ship any parts. He will not ship any parts. If you want something, you'll get the WHOLE VEHICLE.
Green one runs, has 258, manual hubs, automatic.
The light blue one has a 304 (covered in pinestraw, no hood). I don't think there's much desirable there, other than some trim, and locking hubs up front. It also has underdash A/C that somebody may want the parts.
The dark blue one is an early model, has Buick V6 (carb missing), front clip is probably the desirable, salvageable part. Buggy clip, anyone?
Located in central NC. No titles on any of these.
