Over the weekend we cycled the suspension and welded in the shock brackets and installed the drive shaft supplied by Carolina Driveline.
    Stuff and cut!

We also had to remove the armor to cut around the rear tire carrier. We welded nuts on some 1" flat plate to sandwich the armor to the body and make it more ridged.

Now it's time to take the armor off and weld in tabs for the inner fender liner.

These little boogers took a minute to drill and cut
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401750062.815033.jpg

All welded in and ready to go!

Now the jeep has been stripped down and all the armor is at the paint shop for paint. That will give me time to install the JK 4 door parking brake cables along with extending some of the wiring and boxing in some of the areas that were cut out for the stretch

Well the parts have came back from the painter and the armor has been re installed for the last time hopefully! I still have some more loose ends to finish up but this is where the JK sits now

Saw it today. I'll have to admit it's the baddest ass JK I've seen. I've seen more than a few tricked JKs.

That is the first JK I've seen that I liked. I'm normally not a fan, but that one is sweet. Very nice work!

Well I decided to stop by 4 wheel parts and test out the articulation on the RTI ramp before I weld in some of the the areas that I cut and cleared for the tires. I have just a little more trimming on the frame in the rear but I am close to having it all dialed it. Thanks Ryan and Will for the help!!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1404319263.041682.jpg

Working on the trim pieces today. I took some 1 1/4 x1/4 flat stock and made the rear trim, drilled and tapped the fenders and now to just etch prime and paint. This will match the front fender trim which will be sanded and painted jet black. This will also help keep the paint on the fenders LOL! This is easy to touch up!!!

This is probably my favorite Jk after seeing it last week! When are we going to go wheel?
