I've been given a Mitsubishi D1650 2wd it has a scrape blade a 5' bush hog and a 3 point hitch scoop bucket. it needs a little work to get it running good again, i am trying to weigh the options of fixing it and keeping it in storage until i move somewhere else or selling it now and possibly wishing i hadn't in a few years.

Well, mine is orange and 4wd, and I still can't get rid of it for $3000.

Wish I could afford that Kubota.....

Right, exactly the people that don't want to spend more than $1800.
Wrong but to your point why the hell would you pay more for something when you don't have to. If that's your train of thought then boy do I have some shit to sell you.

Well there's nothing wrong with being frugal but I've also worked on these little grey market tractors plenty and part availability/info is generally zero or the price of nos sky high and they then sell for virtually nothing. Why store it somewhere, spend $700 on it then make the same amount of money you would have made by just selling it as is right now? Might actually do better parting it out on eBay.

I can agree on that. Most of the compacts I've seen or worked on were name brand stuff. Kubota, Massey, etc. Parts availability was pretty good.

Fix it. They are great fun. I use mine for moving trailers, moving stuff on pallets, pulling my dually out of the mud, lounging, scrape the driveway, and it has a belly mower I haven't used. If you decide to sell some of the implements, I might be interested.

When I mean fix it I need to blow the tires up put a fresh battery in it, drain the tank and filter and change it and add fresh gas and a new seat. I only have a 1/6 acre maybe in town, we plan on moving out of town but it could be a couple years. Usually I’d haul it to my dads and leave it there but his health is going down hill and he is wanting to move into town and get a smaller house.

Swap places

From one that actually lives in the country... I don't need another one. If you think you may need it in the future then keep it. But if you sell it you're not going to get anything for it... And when the time comes you may need one you're going to pay more than what you spent maintaining what you had...
Bad thing is if it's too old you may find parts and accessories obsolete...then you will wish you had taken what ever you can get...
Trust me. I've got one (an old obsolete that is hard to find parts for). But as long as it runs and mows grass...

I got 23 acres last year. I need a tractor to pull a scraper blade to maintain a long driveway. A bush hog isn't needed but would be a bonus. I'm poor till the DOT takes our current house this fall. LMK if you wanna sell it as is ie.. cheap
