Competition Engineering Floating Housing Leaf Spring Mounts

I'm running the C2030 in the first link in my 67 Fairlane. It has a 9" axle and Im running ladderbars with a monoleaf spring. It works good on the drag car, but I cant help you as far as offroad ability.

It would probably eliminate some binding if you had ladderbars (radius arm, traction bar), or a link setup to locate the axle but but then you'd likely have coils or coilovers for the springs instead of leafs, so you wouldnt need these anyway. The axle is no longer attached to the springs with these setups, the spring just holds the weight of the vehicle so with out a link of some kind the whole axle could rotate around instead of turning the tires (til the driveshaft broke)

I would say these would work some, but the main problem with ladder/traction bars are the large amounts of anti-squat they give offroad... It would keep your springs from binding, but IMO that's not really the issue with ladder bars...

I guess technically you could run shackles front & rear on the springs if using a link/ladder/traction bar setup...
