So today I went to try and get the laptop fired up to download some things and the wifi network won't show up on the list of available networks even after manually entering the info. The laptop is no Rolls Royce, it's just a Lenovo I got in college about 8 years ago so it is a bit old for tech. Tried the troubleshooting option, nothing happened and toggled airplane mode as well. Some interesting backstory that I think is related is that about 2 months ago or so, the network freaked out. Had to manually reset everything in the house including ADT, Ring, thermostat, other computers, phone, tvs, Xbox. Everything got cut out. It seems similar to a DDOS in my opinion but I'm not sure. What are yalls thoughts or suggestions to try and fix the issue and then safeguard from future issues?

Can you use your home network from your phone?

Maybe it's super messed up. Did a few of the steps up to 5 along with 5 and I got a message in the command prompt saying "there is no such wireless interface on the system". Very strange considering it said there were problems with the network "within the last 30 days" when I first started this goose chase earlier tonight. Will keep trying though
