I have roadrunner internet. My connection on the computer is fine, never had a problem with it, but I have problems staying connected with my phone and tablet over a long period of time. I will be my phone using wifi, then Ill stop using it for a while, mind the computer is still on, and Ill go back and wifi is no longer connected. No other device in the house can pick up the signal anymore...so I have to go in to the linksys settings and reset the wireless setting everytime and then every device will pick up on the signal....anyway to not have to do this every time the signal isn't getting picked up?

Search the internet for this problem with your particular wireless router. I had a similar problem with a netgear router before. Turned out netgear had a firm ware update that fixed the problem. Good luck.

auto corrected against my will...

I can't speak for your linksys, but I went through a similar issue with a cheap netgear router. I messed with it and messed with it for years, and eventually ended up replacing it with a much better quality router, and that one hasn't given me any problems at all. I ended up buying a Netgear WNDR3800, and in the six months I've had it installed I've never had to reset it even once. The cheaper one couldn't get through two days without a reset or three. I would definitely try making sure that the firmware is up to date, but if that fails then I'd consider replacing it. I have also heard of some alternative operating systems you can install in some routers that are much more stable than the ones that came from the manufacturer, but I'm not sure if you want to get into a hack fix like that.

There is a lot of crap wifi routers out there. Best ones I ever had were the old Linksys WRT54G. Problem was I constantly kept selling them or gave away to help out my buds.

What model router are you using?

Sounds like a router issue to me as well. I've had them start to lose the connections when they start to get old, on the cheaper side, or got to hot. I usually replace mine every 3 years or so.
