I am so far past being infuriated with insurance. That said, are any of you making use of a concierge or wellness doctors service?
If I signed up for what I’m “supposed” to sign up for when it comes to medical insurance coverage for myself, my wife and my 19 y/o. It would/could be 40-50% of my check. And I’d still have a $5000 deductible annually.
I’d rather sign up and pay a private doctor service for wellness and general health to stay healthy with preventative measures. Granted that doesn’t cover catastrophic issues. But that’s the roll of the dice isn’t it?
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone here has gone that route. Forego conventional medical insurance coverage and seek a more personalized coverage.
The more I look into foods, health, natural remedies, avoiding processed shit, understanding that the same pharmaceutical companies that make drugs also make pesticides to kill beneficial “weeds”, the more I want to get away from the system.
