I need to move my truck soon... very soon. Im running low on ideas for places to put it and all the stuff that goes along with it, with room to still work on it. The thought of using used container ship containers came to mind as a cheap and easy way to build a "shop". Does anyone have any experience with these things and linking them together? or any other ideas for a place to put my pile around the raleigh area?
Thanks.

it'd be like workin in a semi trailer. No room at all, specially if your storing stuff too. sams has a roll up carport, its portable and enclosed, but not very secure, if your not worried bout getting your tools stolen.

A couple of shipping containers side by side.....with alot of cutting and welding my do but it seems like too much money and work.

did someone start a thread about this a while ago... and something about houses out of them?

take 2 20' containers and one of those cheep carports ,place the containers apart the width of the carports

yeah i know a guy that took two of the 20' containers, spaced them apart and put rafters on them and closed the front and rear in,nice shop in the middle and plenty of storage on either side, not what you need but still a good idea
