so my budget right now does not allow me to get long arms for my cherokee. Ive been looking into the ironman4x4fab adjustable uppers and lowers and the adjustable trac bar. it says on the website that the control arms and the trac bar are good up to 8 inches. i will most likely have roughly 8-8.5 inches of lift. will these arms and trac bar be a good alternative to long arms? will they increase my ride quality and allow me to get a good allignment? (not much wheeling to be done until i get a second vehicle which wont be too soon)
Thanks

arm length

Hey man, I only list the arms being good to 8" because i never recommend any more lift for safety reasons.

The short arms will work for an 8.5 inch lift. I highly encourage you get johnny joint arms because of the increased wheel travel associated with so much lift.

I also encourage you to let me know so I can make the arms 1.5 inches longer from the get go so you have as much thread engagement as possible. Feel free to call me 704 796 3502
Thanks
Andy

will those arms work with the factory mounts??? and is the trac bar going to be ok for 8.5 also? and am i going to be able to get it aligned pretty darn close to perfect with these components?
Thanks,
Travis

I'm also been looking at your arms as well. I'm only going with a bb right now but will be going up later. Should I just get lowers or both I don't see going over 4 inches for awhile.

I haven't had the lowers but the uppers are pure BEEF!. With 8" of lift you will atleast need some drop brackets to get your arm angle better, or it will ride like a tank.
Rough country sells drop backets in the 200 range.
Why so much lift? I only ran 5" and cleared 35. Now I'm at 8 with full width and 37s and want to lower it.

i want to be able to run 35s with very minimal, not noticable trimming. im thinking that i will end up being about 7.5 inches and 35s? think i will be successful in just trimming the inside of my flares and bumper end caps with no rubbing if i plan on keeping it on the road for the time being?

ya with 5" you will clear 35's but your flares will not hold up they will rub when turning mine rubbed with 6.5 kit but if you trim the finders right take your time it'll look just as good but i dont think you clear 35's very well with just 5" anyway
