Has any one done this? I know you can do some machine work to achieve this. Cut off the outer flange and milldown the hub diameter some and drill out the bolt holes for press in studs.

Is this an ok thing to do strength wise?

Ya but weld a plate on it to even out the stress on the area that the rotor bolts to so you have rotor on 1 side & plate on the other

Kurt at DIY4X had done that for some of the guys over on CK5.

Cool to know. How much do you charge for that?

I did mine a couple years ago. I used a torch and blew most of the outer flange off and then finished it up in the lathe. Ive beat on it pretty good and never have had any troubles. I didnt add an extra plate or machine the mounting surface.
