Hey thanks alot that was very helpful!

First off, what are you looking to put it on, and that will kinda dictate if its a good solution...

-How difficult is it to convert your motor to propane?

Rather simple. Slightly more to it then bolting on a carb.

-What is the best kit and typically the price to do the conversion?

You can piece together kits or buy it all together. If you dont know what you need, get a kit. There are a few people on here that sell them locally. Many have had great reviews for gotpropane.com

-How many miles do you usually get out of a tank?

All depends on the setup, engine, how its tuned.

-Can run propane and gas?

Sure can, duel fuel. Tuning adjustments will need to be made when switching back and forth, or one wont run optimally.

-Is it economical?

Depends on who you ask and what you are putting it on.

-Are there any places in charlotte to fill a propane tank at a decent price?

Most places that can fill RV/grill tanks should be able to fill lift tanks.

-What motor types can you convert?

You can convert almost anything. If you can put a carb on it, you can put propane. GotPropane does have some injection stuff to IIRC.

With the ease of Chevy TBI installation, it is rather easy to go FI these days, and cheap if you can spend some time researching and in the yards... but propane is affordable and simple...
