Tonya bought a new turkey fryer and were gonna try it out on a duck first.Who's done it and do the same cook times apply to duck as the they do turkey??? Any duck cooking tips???

I done several pheasants that turned out really well. I ran them at 3.5 to 4 minutes per lb at 375* and I injected them with garlic butter. I would just use a thermometer and try to keep it from getting too done.

You into wingshooting by any chance?

I like guns and like to shoot but time for hunting just never seems to work in to my schedule

We use to grouse hunt when I was a kid.Walk all day and see 3 birds
i grew up grouse hunting and its still like that here, except less open woodland that farmers dont care if you hunt now. i have a couple places that hold more birds, but at the same time i hate to shoot up an area that is holding birds in higher numbers.

But i like watching the dog work in open ground hunting quail, just as much as chasing grouse
