I have an all leaf lift on my excursion(7" front, 6"rear) that I want to have replaced with stock parts(which I have). I wanted to get a general idea of how much it would cost to have this swapped, befoer I decide to do it myself.

TIA

You probably need to find out just how much had to be modified (besides the lift itself) for eveyrthing to work with a 7" lift.

E.g. if the suspension has been modified that much, chances are there's alot of other stuff that had to be done to match, like changing driveline angles, driveshaft lengths, etc, maybe had gear changes to fix for bigger toires w/ the lift, etc.

Like, it has a solid axle under it and you want to go back to the IFS? Probably not possible because they would have cut the old suspension mounting points off the frame.

There just like a F250 right? Leafs or if a little newer then coils in the front..But i doubt there is any susp missing you just need to find someone with stock parts wanting to swap. Labor should be the same as installing a new lift.

What year is the ford

never made an IFS excursion that Im aware of

2wd Excursions, and Superdutys are both twin I-beam suspension. All 4wds are leafs.
Ah gotcha, was thinking of my neighbors Expedition. (Stupid Ford and all their explosion names.)

I've got a '99 F250 SuperDuty that I just bought a lift kit for. But when you get thing figured out, if you wanna sell the parts for your old lift...let me know...I'll probalby want to upgrade again someday.

sway bar links--
carrier bearing for driveshaft--
if your truck had factory blocks(in the rear obviously), you will need those--
stock length u bolts--
stock pitman arm--
remove drop brackets for trackbar, and make sure its a factory track bar--
brake lines should have been lengthened, may have to tie excess out of the way--this may go for abs lines, and vac lines for auto hubs--
correct shock lengths--the stock mounts on the rear axle can be loosened, and rotated to accomodate shorter shocks, be sure they are in the correct location--
im sure i forgot about something else--

HTH

diesel or gas lift? Big diff in spring rates between the 2. If they are diesel and you want to sell them PM me.
