I Drive an hour to work. Closest store is 4 miles, but only if you need an item or two. Have to drive 4 miles and meet the pizza delivery person. Wally World is 13 miles, same with the grocery store. Road was paved about 6 years ago, cable come shortly before that. Mail and newspaper is all that is delivered. Well UPS and Fed ex sometimes. I see school busses at 6:15 and as late as 5pm. I can shoot my guns if I want, but usually don't since it scares the dogs. I'd have to be screaming at the top of my lungs for one of my neighbors to hear me. So, banging, grinding and so on late nights isn't an issue.
The world is my bath room, so I just step behind something when outside. I can enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings from either porch, while wearing only my BVD's
I don't think I could I could handle living in the city. Don't really even like going there.
