I think we've run them out around here. Haven't seen any in a while and saw 2 turkey hens yesterday. That's something I have'nt seen since I bought the place. They may have heard I've got a FiveseveN coming soon...

I haven't heard them in a long time. Probably a year or so. (Think there was another thread on here somewhere) even then it never sounded like more than a couple. Last night I heard more than I've ever heard before. Think I'm gonna take a nature walk today and see what was going on

They are even crossing bridges over the intercostal. Someone pinned up a pic at the bait shop last weekend on Oak Island, NC of one.

I didn't get to walk the woods like I wanted to, my honey do list was too long lol. I did notice some buzzards flying over an area that's not far away. Maybe a kill sight. I'm gonna check it out soon as I can. Spoke to another neighbor and he said he heard Em too.

There is a cool FLIR attachment for smartphones + a scope mount for phone = infrared pred hunting on the cheap.

We have a coyote in our area that we see near the same area a lot of nights.

90 degree curve in the road and our headlights sweep the field. There's always deer..but alot of times we ( neighbors also) have seen this huge German Shepherd looking coyote. He's cowling down trotting across the field.

Not to mention, it often sounds like a bunch of kids screaming back in the woods. They're close, but the big boy is the only one any of us have spotted.

Had that same idea...then a guy at work got one, it doesn't work well past 20 yards.
