I'm sure many of us have heard but thought I would post for all to know.
Crackers Neck Has been SOLD.
According to the CTB Commander the owner has been recieving payments for the property and will be transfering ownership within a month or 2. The CTB will continue in its efforts to contact the new owners to see if any area will be available to ride in the future. We (the CTB) have put a lot of work in there opening trails and will be sad to see it closed if that happens. But reciently we have shifted our efforts back to Callalantee.
 
James I rode last WE and had a blast. When we were leaving Sunday a small group of very big built rigs rolled in. The told us they had been at Callalantee before comming there. They said there were some "killer" trails there now. So,... maybe if we do loose CN all together, there are some good trails opening up over there.

was it a yellow ford ranger with boggers and a white YJ with 38" maxxis?

Nope, full size Chevy truck running pane with cut 44 boggers, and a FJ-40( at least the hood was) with a really nice tube everything. Exaust come out the side of the skid plate. These guys were from VA
 
Those guys were with me, I was the one with the runner on pane you were talking to. The trails in Callentee are getting better and since they both less than 45 minutes from us if they do close Cracker's Neck down we will just start going there all the time.
