Since when has craigslist started charging $5 a pop to list a car for sale? 30 days and it disappears :shaking: Don't delete your facebook accounts in a hurry.

At least a year ago, maybe longer. Sad but I don't know how they generate money for the site otherwise - no ads, links, etc. Number of listings and vehicle quality has definitely dropped. I still look every day but usually just disappointed...

Just post the car under the auto parts section and put that it's not for parts its buy the whole vehicle... Most people probably don't search under certain categories, just key words. May limit some viewership and may get deleted eventually but it'll work.

Facebook needs to charge buyers to ask if it is still available, so much more work to sell a vehicle now the 5$ is probably worth it

Very true. After looking back at all of the cars I’ve sold on Craigslist for free I figured I probably owe them at least five bucks haha. Supply is also low on Craigslist so maybe that will help my odds at selling a grand Cherokee :)

The last three cars I sold went to craigslist buyers. I posted everything on facebooks and craigslist.....got lots of "is it available" but no buyers.
Dragged my feet on selling my ram, listed it on Facebook for weeks, sold it in 2 days for asking price and had 3 other buyers lined up once it went on the list....pay the $5, keep craigslist alive.

People scan facebook because they are there already, people go to craigslist to buy stuff!

I still use CL more than anything else. I gave up on marketplace completely. There's not as much being sold on CL anymore, so once you post something it only takes a few hours to get a bite. Usually the older more mature buyer crowd that know what they won't and don't BS around.
