crew cab rc crawler

RC crawling "scalers" have to be THE coolest remote control vehicles. I've always wanted to build one.

ive built a few scalers. they are definatly the most fun to build. its all got to be custom.

what you dont know about that crew cab is that they dont make crew cab bodies. you have to mold two single cabs together.

Yeah, Justin, check out some of the builds on rccrawler.com. There's some awesome stuff on there. All kinds of scale versions of various UA rigs and even a scaler of Fred Williams (4WOR) Toyota "Clampy".

scale4x4.org or net, i cant remember but its a really good site too. sometimes rccrawler can be a little like pirate4x4. scale4x4 is a more newbie safe and a lot cooler builds.

Bunches. You can get a scale Hi-Lux on leaf springs from Tamiya, but it starts around $500, IIRC. And it's got the wrong body. The scalers are not a cheap breed. The one in the video is a totally custom operation that the dude probably has 40+hours in. Feel like writing a guy's paycheck? ;) Seriously, though, I've never seen anybody build to sell, at least not on anything nearing a large scale. With any luck, you could send the owner a message on Youtube and see if he'd sell. Otherwise, I'd start looking at building it yourself.

Log onto RCCrawler.com and PM Microgoat, be ready to drop about a grand though.
