Crocs Closing Sorry Jody

That reads like they're moving to contract manufacturing instead of incurring the costs themselves. Not that Crocs is actually closing.

Edit...also, Forbes is gonna enjoy being able to report another fortune 500 female exec...even though there's an outgoing female. Female execs...it's all the rage.

Yeah that's pretty much what I got out of it. Had to do a little more digging, that's seems to be the key. In fact there's a reasonable chance those plants won't be shuttered, just change hands.
 
Was just at Myrtle Beach this past week and stopped by the Crocs outlet. No indication there that Crocs is even seeing a business hiccup, let alone going under. Prices were same, inventory was there, sales were being made. (not to me - I can't afford them!)

That said, I have a pair that I got from my father-in-law. He had horrible foot problems due to diabetes and other ailments and he had to wear off-brand lined Crocs for comfort. We had ordered him a pair but he didn't like them because of the holes. When he passed away, we found the box with them still in it and tags still on. Tried to take them back, but could only exchange them for a different size due to how long since purchase. I wear them to walk the dog when I'm too lazy to put on legit shoes. Comfy as hell, but I can't bring myself to wear them anywhere other than Walmart. Lexington has certain standards..... :)
