2003 ram 2500 hemi 4x4. i bought a ypipe and muffler and wanted someone to install it. i have an aftermarket deep trans pan which will consist of a new crossover pipe being made also. so i go to muffler masters and they wanted over $400 to install and all day. no way! so i called around and mienkie in harrisburg said he could do it for aound $200. needed it done that day. so there i went. showed the guy how i wanted it. $280 later, 7 leaks, silicone in the leaks and crossover pipe dead center of trans pan and 1/2" close. take it back and he says he dont know any other way to do it. so friend told me about frankies on hwy 29. talked to him and he said he could run me a new crossover pipe and fix the leaks for $60. said ok. brother picked it up today. OMG!!!!!!!! how does these people stay in business do this kind of work. will post pics. he better give my money back....he says he does exhaust for street rods and fancy cars. is there anybody out there that can make me a new crossover pipe and fix the leaks and not do freaking work like this and knows how to weld....sorry if i sound mean, just a little upset. send me a pm if anyone can fix this or recommends someone. thanks nc4x4

I would try Larry's muffler in Taylorsville. May be a little ride but he's reputable. I don't think anyone can fix it though, it needs to be redone. Good work isn't cheap or fast, cheap work isn't fast or good, and fast work isn't good or cheap.

haha, what a mess, I've done better on jackstands in my driveway butt-welding mandrel bent elbows. might take me all damn day, but, it'd be right

did he bend that tube in a bench vise?

hate to say it, but this seems like a good case of "you get what you paid for...."

well this guy was suspose tj run a new crossover pipe. thats it. the first company did most of the work. i just need the crossover pipe fixed.

Id go up to locust car care in you guessed it locust. There right next to advance on 601, they did the exhaust on my dads truck and its good quality work.

Wow, Quality right there. I would keep bringing that back until you are satisfied with it or they refuse to work on it anymore without paying more. If you end up needing to go somewhere else, I can get you contact info for a good shop in mooresville.

Damn...
