The show is TRUCK U...
The shows host, Matt Allegretti was supposed to shoot the show, of top 10 wheeling spots, at Tellico, the weekend of the Southern event. His plans were scrapped when travel agency made a mistake. The following weekend would have to do.
He (Matt) then looked on web for local clubs and somehow found the CTBs site. He then contacted John Brooks,CTBs commander, and asked if he were interested. He only wanted 4 to 5 rigs. Even on short notice John was able to round up 5 rigs for the shoot.
The lucky 5 were,John Brooks, Devin Frye,Kevin Anders,Scott Mcdaniel,and Kyle Lackey.
They met up with Matt Allegretti at Crawfords camp.
Matt was a one man show, pulling both camera duties and interviews. John said "He tossed his 10,000 dollar camera in the Jeep and off we went"
Scott Mcdaniel had one of the shows onboard cameras mounted on his rig and ended up giving, what Matt said "was his first on board roll over footage"
John said" Matt interviewed all of us at different obstacles and shot lots of footage."
I am excited for these guys, and am sure to hear about this for the next....20 years or so!!!
Some guys have all the luck!!
