I have a 1986 1028 cucv that I am building finally getting back into wheeling, Plans call for 6in springs,ORD 2.5 shackle flip, ORD HD front shackles,High steer/crossover steering, 24 bolt H1 wheels, 37x12.5x16.5 MTR's, 4 wheel disc brakes, gonna run the sway bar for street use but building a set of disconnects, flatbed with 16.5lb 24v winch mounted underneath, and a 16.5lb 24v winch up front,(at least won't stay stuck long) should be posting pics soon

That sounds like a whole lot of lift.

Yeah mine has 6" springs up front and a diy shackle flip on the rear with a helper spring and it swallows a 38" on a 12" wide wheel if I was actually going to wheel mines I would only go 4" on a 37" and maybe trim a little at full tuck just my .02. I love them CUCVs though.

I'm using some well used BDS springs to start with I'm sure I'll have to change a few things but planning on driving this more than it is trailered

You can probably just ditch the sway bar, I've never noticed mine being gone. I've been rocking a 4" HD spring with a zero rate and the Cummins on top of them since 2008.
