I know this may be a stupid question but what does CUCV mean when your talking about a GM vehicle?
The CUCV was the military version of the one ton Chevy truck. Usually with 14 bolt rear, 60 front, 4:56 gear, with Detroit in the 14 and a limited slip in the front.
They rated it at 1.25 ton. Most with the diesel, and I think some did have a gas engine, but not sure.
This normally meant a sparse options package. Most times with no A/C, Radio, or any niceties. They came as Dodge and GM Vehicles. depending on the years.
