Cullowee Map

like i said i dont know if caney fork is the same as "pinhook" but I came over it about 3 weeks ago ... its a very decent trail with alot of creek crossing, timber crossing and several off camber spots ... in one spot there was a bypass to what was a really hard series of rocks and off camber and hill climb. If this is the same trail I took it from the parkway side and came out in caney fork (dont know if it was the end or not?) it was about a 2 hour or longer trail. I will be going again soon (maybe tomorrow??) if anyone wants to follow ... if not I will get some video this time (especially the rocky part!!) Well I need to get back to work replacing a wheel bearing (went up "lil slickrock"? on cane creek rd when it was pouring rain last weekend and took out a locking hub and wheel bearing on the rock ... but I made it!)

That sounds more like Cane Creek to me

I've never rode Pinhook but Cane Creek is no 2 hour ride, more like a 15 minute cruise. The "Little Slickrock" side trail on Cane Creek is insane (unless its bone dry or you're locked). Locals ride dirtbikes and fourwheelers up there all the time. I can't believe they closed down Chastine's Creek and Coppermine (Caney Fork trails) though.

Pinhook

the place I rode was on caney fork not cane creek for sure! one part of the trail made "little slickrock" look like childs play seriously. I have been up the little slickrock twice now ... once dry and made it easily and once VERY wet in the pouring rain ... and 20 mins later i made it with just minor breakage (and im locked front and rear by the way) I forgot this weekend is easter weekend but if anyone one here wants to go across pinhook let me know and we can plan something (I have 3 rigs ready to go now plus mine) its a nice way to kill half a day lol
