CUMMINS 6TA 8.3L MYSTERY PART FOUND IN OIL PAN

One of our mechanics found this part in the oil pan of an 8.3L Cummins. I can't find anything that looks like it in my online parts catalog OR my Cummins parts catalog. It appear to only be half of the whole piece. Any ideas?

nevermind, found it. It's the turbocharger thrust bearing...

That probably ought not to be in the oil pan....just saying :D My guess is it's small enough to fit through the oil drain, but it's hard to tell by the picture the actual size of the broken pieces.
