Cummins Auto to Manual Swap???

I am looking to convert my D250 from auto to manual after my trans gave out today. I know of where I can buy an entire wrecked truck with all of the necessary equipment. I just need someone to do the labor. Is there anyone good in the Wilkes/Yadkin/Surry Counties area? Any input would help thanks!

What year model? I wouldn't put anything other than a NV4500 in it even if it is older than a 94 (assuming it is since you said D250)

Look for any 5 spd trans behind a Pre-03 cummins. I think is the years but I'm prob wrong. Shouldn't be too hard to find just might be a lil pricey.

yea nv4500 are 94-02 and 03 changed and few 02 n up have a nv5600 which 6 speed awsome trany! for ur 92 just a ve pump ide do a 4500 with a southbend single disk clutch you should be good up to around 350hp and 700lb torque!!

I did it with my 95 and i put a nv5600 in mine with a single disk southbend. It was easy to do your self. Mine is 4x4.
