Hey got a HX35 turbo from work to swap onto my 24V 02 dodge, auto tranny truck so I've got the crappy little turbo. The turbo is off a medium duty 98 12V. Other than clocking the compressor anything else to look for?

You should be in good shape. Is it wastegated? Check out the exhaust outlet and make sure it's the same. Other than that it should be ok. Check out this link. It has a lot of interesting info.

Awesome tech page. Thanks I'll check the casting to see what cm the housing is. I got the oil drain line and exhaust outlet swapped. Clocked the compressor to so should be set to reassemble in the morning and try it out.

Braxton how's the twins running? Gonna swap the HX on tomorrow and look into some 80-100 injectors next... I know small compared to some but more than enough for me.

well it bolted up to the exhaust manifold but the wastegate diaphram was in the exact spot the compressor outlet needed to be. I could route the intercooler piping to the compressor cause of it. Maybe next time I 'll get one off a dodge instead of a medium duty truck. Damn. I checked the compressor housing number on the web site listed above and it didn't match any on the dodge HX35's so I guess it is different thanks to the waste gate assemble.
