Off Hwy 70 between marion and old fort.
Does anybody know if you can still get all the way to the parkway on this road anymore. It used to be a state road, but I dont know if it is anymore. This was the way around the gates on the parkway years ago, along with South Toe River rd. off highway 80. Both these used to be good little rides in the winter and was just wondering if anybody had been up either of these old roads lately.

Not sure about current conditions, but I know the road still goes all the way through if/when they have the gates open during spring, summer, and fall.

curtis creek was closed just below the camp ground the other afternoon when we were fishing ,because of snow and trees down on the parkway,they probally leave it closed until spring.they also have south toe river road closed for repairs(been closed since aug 09)at black mountian campground was to be open by now,but was still closed also,neils creek was open to the parkway,it comes out right across from curtis creek. nc105 was pretty good the other night
