Custom cross member

I've rotated a dana 300 TC on my 80 CJ-7, Attached to a tf-999 trans. I've cut a 1/4 inch plate for the skid and trans mount. Any ideas for a custom low profile engine mount. Do you really need as much flex as designed in the manual transmission mounts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
 
Keep the rigidity in the drivetrain as constant as possible...
 
What he said. It's best to keep the engine and trans mount of the same material. Also depends on how rigid your frame is. Being it's a CJ, it's about as rigid as a slinky :flipoff2: I'd use something with some flex.
