My factory manifold has cracked so I need to replace it. The stealership wants $575 for a new one and they have a cat built in which I want to delete. Is there anyone who can build me a good header for a 5 cylinder?

This header is for 2wd non torsion bar only I have a TB 4x4. There is not a manufactured unit for a TB suspension. And to make matters worse I need to use the factory head pipe. GM really made a piece of art when they bent that pipe.

Good grief! How old could that possible be? Mine on my Toyota lasted 25 years before it cracked, Oh wait, there's that GM quality I'm always talking about. Junk the junk and get a yota.:flipoff2:

To be somewhat helpful, the dealer price is pretty good considering it has the cat in it. Why would you want to get rid of the cat? It's not like it robs horsepower or anything like everyone thinks they do. The old pellet types did, but the monolith types everyone uses today will flow more than the rest of the exhaust will. Plus it'll make your truck fail NCSI and stink to high heavens! Why not have someone weld up the crack?

The dyno results I’ve seen say the contrary besides it's a pre cat it will pass without it. Hell you can delete both cats and use spark plug antifoulers on the rear O2 sensor and pass NCSI. If it was a clean crack I would weld it myself but this crack is any think but clean. And as for Toyota we know they made some great vehicles in the past but what I have seen in the news for their newer vehicles doesn’t look so great. I really don’t want to purchase another manifold from GM just to have this problem again.
