I did a search, and saw a couple, more generic options. I am looking for some shift boot ideas. I need one for a doubler set up in my Nissan. The length of travel on the 4wd case won't ideally work with a store bought one, so I was going to try to buy some faux leather and make one. Any tips, tricks, or ideas? Thanks in advanced.

I did one on my CJ5 out of a piece of Denim. kinda fitting since it was a Levi Edition CJ5. Sewed up a simple cone shape and slid it over the shifter.

I used trash bags and duct tape for years, lol! Last time I pulled my 205 I bought two $10 fake leather shift boots off the "bling" isle at auto zone. The boot velcros and laces at the top to tighten it up on the stick. I made a sheet metal ring to hold the bottom side to the floor and I stapled the two boots together in between the twin sticks. It looks pretty decent and keeps the heat and dust out.
