So my 85 runner sits pretty low in the front.
The springs are actually flat
I have 2 sets of extra leaf springs and a set of add a leafs.
I want to mix and match, I'm looking for the most flex I can get, and only 2-3" of lift.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know which springs they used in their own setups?

Thanks

Flat is usually pretty good for flex, that is unless the springs are just wore slap out and are curving down...

Usually the thinnest, and longest leaves you can add to the pack will add lift while retaining good ride and flex, short and thick leaves will add more height with less springs, but will be stiffer. You could also look at adding something like the Off Road Design Zero Rate to the pack for added height without changing the leaf's characteristics. (simply a 1" block that bolts to the spring pack like another leaf, unlike a normal block that is just sandwiched underneath.)

So could I just cut the mil wrap off the main and throw it under for some good lift/flex? Or should I cut closer in?

If you use that one, I would cut it a little farther in to give it room to slide against the other main spring without contacting anything. Personally I wouldn't cut up the main spring of another pack if it is still good, as you could build another spring pack to try out, and keep as a spare. Also I doubt that spring would give much added height as compared to the others in the pack.
