I've been meaning to cut some of the old rusty bent fender off of the front and repaint them, it's just taken me forever to get around to it. So this past weekend I finally got a chance.
I've also been playing around with the idea of painting the TJ. Rattlecan style, possibly an olive drab, black combo, or maybe going snow camo...white/black/grey. I'm still in the air about it, but I was pleased with the results out of the can of Krylon Semi Flat I used on these fenders. I also went ahead and repainted the grille since it had not been touch in a year plus. My only prep was Scotchbrite'ing the area being painted until slightly dulled, and then wiping them down to get the dust off. I did my tailgate this same way a while back and it turned out fine.

Now all I have to do is bolt up the rockers (that never sold!!!) and I'll be ready to head to DPG this weekend.

What's wrong with my stripes?
I think Greg hates America...

yeah...that's it...:huggy:

we might have to have a camo paint day...me and one other guy are considering it as well...

BTW...the black/white/grey is "urban" camo..."snow" camo doesn't have black in it...just something I learned while trying to figure out what I was going to do...

I still want to do mine like this:

but probably with some black (i.e. bumpers, rock sliders, etc)...

Thanks, haven't made it that far in the text book yet.:shaking:
I'm leaning more towards the olive color at the moment...less work/up keep, and I'm all about that.

Are you still planning on going to DPG this weekend? I'm wanting to see the finished product in person, only seen pics so far.
