I know this has probably been answered a million time, one more just for me, I have a scout2 with a full width d44, what is the cheapest way to convert to cross over steering? I can weld, cut, tap what ever if that helps. thanks!

You'll need to drill and tap the passenger side knuckle (assuming it's a flat top).
Decide on what material you want to use for drag link and tie rod, decide on what ends you want to use, and depending on that you'll know if you need inserts or if you just need to tap the material for your ends.
You'll need high steer arms of course and with being sprung over on 4" lift springs, you'll more than likely need a 1" spacer under the arms and even with that, it will probably be close.

ok, now I dont think the passenger side is a flat top....so I guess first thing would be to find a flat top knuckle right?

yup

flat tops

I got a set Im not going to use. Make offer. Not sure of the year though. You are welcome to take a look or I can send pics.

Keep in mind that the gm and fsj's don't have the same spindle bolt pattern as your scout so you will need to get the spindle from the donor vehicle and I'm not sure the fsj or gm part will work with your hubs and bearings. Your best bet may be to get both knuckles complete with rotors hubs and calipers from the donor.
