What is the going rate for a newer metric pattern Dana 60 out of an F350? Is $650 a good deal?
$500 - $1200 for a stock axle.
Just depends on the seller/features/condition of the axle.
78-79 adds value (longer driver side axle tube)
78-91 adds value (Kingpins)
Complete in good shape adds value - Tie rod, track bar, spring perches, brakes. The condition of moving components - hubs, kingpings or ball joints, U-Joints, differential/pinion bearings are something to take into effect. Also need to look for bent tubes.
Some people think they're made of gold.....
I had to drive 6.5 hours to get it, but I scored a complete 88 in great condition for $500.
Im pretty familiar with the value of those. I found what I thought was a deal on a newer one, but now it appears to just be a fair deal.$500 - $1200 for a stock axle.
