So I bought a GM rear full float D60 from a guy on the board here about a year ago and are just now getting around to putting it in my toyota but ran into some problems and have a Q.
It has a disc brake conversion on it using front chevy calipers (dont know it that makes a difference for my question).
Anyways it has aftermarket shafts in it, I was told they were Yukon brand but Idk for sure. The shafts have two sets of 8 holes in each one, like they are made to fit a couple different hubs or something. I went to pull the axles out to reseal them as they were a bit leaky. When putting them back in I noticed that the hole patern for the hub barely matches up and MOSTLY that the holes are so freaking big that they over hang onto the inside of the hub. NO WONDER they leak. Thats gonna be about impossible to seal and the bolts are about impossible to get back in too. Anyone know why? Are there different axle hub paterns for these axles or something? Either way these axles are not right.
Thanks
