wow.

i was doing a youtube search for uwharrie and came accross this video.

the kid had me nervous as hell! no seat belt, hanging out the door, hand down by the rocker (on rocky mtn loop!) herad hanging out during a near roll, right rear in the air and he is more worried about whether or not the camera guy is filming! ignoring his spotter...im sure the list is longer.

I know it's not smart to talk shit on the internet, especially when it was a video from URE, but yikes. teach the kid some safety pointers before sticking him on the trail!

and yeah...that's the ledge whitey pulled me off of so im not sure i really have room to talk too much shit!

So what?

What a bunch of morons! These guys need to have a "scared straight" moment to maybe teach them the importance of safety/safe wheeling.

the best way to take that ledge is up and over, drag the belly and make use of the factory skid plates, damn near rolling it due to picking a bad line, dumbass.

The lack of seatbelts was the worst part, first time he actually rolls it, he'll learn why real quick, maybe even get a darwin award

I posted a link to the exact same video back in August on 4x4wire, but got this reaction:

"How dare you post something pointing out someone making a dumb ass decision out on the trails! Such ignorance, how dare you!"
(Not that exactly...but it sums it up)

So a reply like "Who cares?" is mild, compared to the 5 pages of flaming I got.

I guess to some people it makes them look bad, so they get pissed too. :shaking:

I'm with futbal I wanted to see them role it but then again i dont wanna see anyone get hurt. You could tell they didn't know much about what was going on they forgot the golden rule "listen to your spotters" even if they are dumb asses

I really did not want to see him get hurt.. but he was begging for it! I was waiting for him to fall out and his jeep kept going down the hill

That's the kind of guy that breaks his crap and then flags you down to help him repair it. I don't mean to be a jerk but that is just like the kind of guy that broke his jeep on carolina beach. After doing donuts for 30 mins, his jeep broke, then wants me to help him fix his crap! So what do I do???? Helped his fix his crap, gave him some(spare) parts and the jack leg barley gave me money to cover the cost of the parts. Not even a thanks!!! See if I help someone like that again.

I wonder if he didn't like being blasted around here? Anyway, he looked old enough to me that I bet he bought the jeep himself. He's a newb, we've all been there. No big deal to me.
