I'm just finishing up the LS swap into my 88 GMC C1500. I got an SGI-100BT to help me convert the speedo and aftermarket tach signal from the LS harness. I got the tach to work but I can't get the stupid speedo to work. The T56 VSS signal from the ECM is 4000 ppm but the gauges need 2000 ppm because the buffer box is built into the gauges and converts it internally. Everyone says to just swap to 94+ gauges but I want to keep my old moonie gauges just because I want the truck to remain looking relatively original on the interior.
Can anyone help me? I've tried what I could find online but nothing is really working. I checked VSS signal from ECM and it seems like I'm getting one but I need to take it out for a faster drive to see instead of getting up a bit of speed in my driveway.
