I was pretty excited having driven to hickory to pick up some tires for the Jeep....heading back coming down hwy 16 just a mile from 485, almost home free, and a damn deer runs out in front of me. Luckily the front bumper we had built took all the damage but I did manage to rip a transmission line out of the transmission so now I get to wait on a tow truck to haul me the rest of the way home. Way to ruin my fun deer

transmission line is nothing compared to your health. Glad you are ok and you will have a story to tell years from now.

Glad it wasn't any worse. I am up to 5 of them with my vehicles.

Oh absolutely I’m extremely thankful for that sturdy front bumper, it saved me and the Jeep. Had I been in my daily driver car, a Camaro, I am certain I’d be in the hospital.

Damage wasn’t too bad, the last pic is the line where it was ripped out of the fitting, just gotta replace that fitting and I think I’ll be good to go.

I may have some of those fittings. You can get new plastic retainers for cheap at any parts store. I can't remember if it's 5/16 or 3/8 off hand. I forgot thread hose barb I used when I converted one to rubber line, entirely from trans to radiator though I don't recommend that.

Thanks, I think autozone has the fitting with the little plastic retainer for like $7, I’m gonna swing by there tomorrow after work and check to make sure

All that damage and no tenderloin! I counted 18 in 5 separate fields last in a 8 mile drive. Bucks are starting to push the does out of the woods
