Damn shower door!

My sister's shower here leaks really bad, so I went to fix it today.

Its a standard door (standing room only shower, no slider). It leaks underneath the door from what I can see. I tried to replace the rubber strip below the door, but I couldnt get a decent replacement at lowes and have no idea where else to go...

I think the problem now is, water stores inside the metal channel that the strip attaches to, and when the door is opened it all spills out. It looks like the channel was something added in after the door was installed anyways.

Any idea what to put at the bottom of this door to waterproof it? This is such an annoying project, ive been working on it the better part of the day and have nothing to show for it, besides a soaked bathroom and old as hell caulk all over the bathroom.

Well I may have fixed it, pending on my trip to lowes tomorrow.

I basically took the piece of garbage piece that originally held the strip to keep the water out and flipped it over. Im going to use the piece as a ramp to send the water down towards the drain.

I took the strip I bought, and drilled it into the front of the door to keep and splashing water from going all over the floor.

Hopefully this will work.

Ok, all caulk aside.
We need to see the problem, please set up a video camera then ask your sis to shower as norrmal, with female partner if necessary to make leak, and we will observe video and advise.
