Damnedest deer sighting

So this morning were hanging out in the truck bay at my fire station at 7:30 getting ready to switch out and go home when a 6 point buck ran through the open front door, past a 1 week old new engine between our group standing there( or should I say diving for cover) and out the back door. Once he got in the back parking lot, where our POV's are, he ran into a fence then out into the street and trotted down the road that leads into the hood. This might not be a strange story if the station was in the country, but we are right downtown High Point at Headquarters. I"ve heard stories of deer in malls but until one runs by you in an un-natural place you can't really comprehend it.

You should check and see if your town is participating in the new "urban bow season" this year from jan 10 to feb 19. Legal bow hunting inside city limits!

I'm at Station 2/HQ and drive the tiller truck Ladder 2. As for the urban bow season, I think you could open fire with an AK and the neighbors wouldn't think about. In other words gun fire is common in the hood behind the station.
