Rebuilding the Dana 20 out of my '75 CJ-5. Everything has been running smoothly until I got to where I need to remove the poppet ball and spring to remove the shift rails. I have been following Billavista's D20 Rebuild. I just cannot figure out how to get them out! I have been searching but can't find a better explanation of how to remove them.

Also while I'm at it I figure I would go ahead and twin stick it, through a brief search found Dons Twin Stix through Novak and it looked to be the cheapest with a gasket and seal kit.

Thoughts/opinions/help?
Thanks!

Its been a while since I pulled mine apart. I thought you just pull the shift rail all the way out, then the ball falls out. Seems like I remember the hole for the poppet spring goes across the shifter rail bore. Getting it out is easy, putting it together is the fun part
