Anyone had this done or know off hand what it costs to go from 4:10's to 4:88's.

I don't feel comfortable doing it myself.

Up here in the Asheville area, that would be in the $1000 range. Maybe a little lower if most of the bearings can be reused. Maybe a little higher based on the brand of gear set used.

$600 for gears and install kits from ECGS, $150-200 per axle for labor sounds about right on with what Jody said.

Thanks guys, that all sounds about right from the feedback I've gotten in that area.

WOW!! Who does gears for $150??!!! If he's good, Ill have him do all mine!

If you bring me the axle I do. If I've gotta pull it, the price goes up depending on vehicle and cleanliness.

Yea that's a really good price, now all I would have to do is remove the axles and drive 3-1/2 hrs there :p

Because Lord knows I dont trust my Jeep to make the trip
