Dana 30 Front locker recommendations

I have an '81 CJ7 with a 4 inch lift and 33-12.50s and am about to put a locker in the front. What are some good candidates? Leaning towards the Aussie locker.

We've got a Spartan in one of ours. You can hear it clicking whenever the Jeep is turning, but that's it. No real feedback when the Jeep is in 2wd.

They flat out work. If you have lock outs on your dana 30 then it is definitely a no brainer.

Me and my brother-in-law put the Aussie in his tj and it was no problem. We are headed back to URE in Sept. So I don't want him showing me up. He loves it so I may just stick with the Aussie.

Lock Right worked fine when I had a D30.

I have had a spartan locker in mine for about 2 years. I put a solid diff cover and played the the oil and now I don't get the clicking and it just flat out works offroad.

I spent about $500 on my front axle. I put ten factory chromos and the spartan locker. That is the price of the true trac, then you have to pay to have it installed.

I have run Aussies in two different D30s, a front D44, and two different 8.8s, never had a problem with any of them.

Agreed...love my Truetrac. Really good traction, but releases just before the axle joint pops.
