dana 30 high pinion

i have a 95 cher. it has the dana 30 high pinion in the front and i also have a dana 30 out of a (think it is a 86 cj) but it has locking hubs .is there a way to convert both of them to gether? i like the dana 30 high pinion but would like to have locking hubs with out going and buying them......

you can buy lockout hub conversion kits for XJs.
just do a search on google and it will point you to a few sites.
i dont think you could actually combine your two axles however.

The CJ front is PSD. The XJ has DSD. You would have to change T-cases.

plus if it were that easy, everybody would be doing it instead of buying a 1K hub conversion kit.

Cut the inner "Cs" off the cj and put on the xj.

X2... youll haveta change everything from the inner "c" out... that will also change the bolt pattern for the wheels too...

heres one done... you can use dana 30 parts instead of 44...

Just flip the CJ 30 over. You'll have DSD and high pinion.

Sorry, I forgot, you also half to put a twist in your t case chain.
