dana 30 question

Okay I've got a 94 zj with a dana 30 front axle with cv axles and there shot. I also have a dana 30 with u-joints but some teeth are broke off one of the gears or id just swap them out. But my question is can i swap just the axle shafts Id basically be swithing from cv to u-joint any pros and cons to it and is it possiable?

I'm pretty sure you can just swap the shafts out, the carriers and unit hubs are the same.

lots of pros to u joints over cvs.
#1 they dont break as ez! get 95 or newer xj hp dana 30 you get the biggest u joints they put in stock.

All axles are the same size xj/zj. axles should swap out with out any problems.
another upgrade is wj kuckles on the hp dana 30. then the axle should hold a set of 35s with upgraded axles.

My research has taken my painful days.... i lifted the truck useing and explorer spring set rides nice and all gain lots of play room but maxed out my stock shocks so im hunting down a new set today.
