What year and model trucks can I find I passenger side drop Dana 60,or 44 axle out of? Any preferred over others...? Going under a samurai. Thanks.

How wide do you want it to be? Late 70's Waggy 44 front will be about 60" and pass drop whereas a GM or FSJ will be wider (65"-69")

Lots of variables on width based on model years.

Front passenger drop Dana 60s can be found under 87 and older Chevys and 93 and older Dodges, usually one tons but some 3/4 tons. Full size passenger drop front Dana 44s were in Chevys in the mid to late 70s but only for a few years IIRC before they started using 10 bolts. These were usually 6 lug in the half tons and 8 lug in the 3/4 tons. 44's were in Dodges from the early 70s until 93, usually 5 lug in the half tons and 8 lug in the 3/4 tons. Both 60's and 44's were different widths between Chevy and Dodge, and usually are wider than rear 60's (which have various widths too). Also 44's in Dodges vary, with some being unit bearing style with either 5x4.5 or 8x6.5 bolt pattern, some being 5x5.5 bolt pattern, and some being CAD axles. Dodge also used a Dana 61 front under some diesel trucks.
