Dana 44 axle seal

Had a rear TJ d44 leaking so I pulled both shafts. Driver side bearing was shot. Got new seals for both shafts and had new bearings pressed on both shafts. Got it all back together and drive it around. Now the drivers side is leaking again around the axle seal. I cleaned where bearing and seal go inside the tube very well before I put the shafts back in. Didn't notice any nicks or anything where the seal goes. Any ideas?

X2 had an axle seal start leaking on my 44 after a gear install, as long as its the outside of the seal leaking a small bead of rtv around the edge should do the trick
