The bad, horrible noise in rear diff last weekend. One ring gear bolt backed all the way out,all others were loose.Metal chips suck! I did not install it.The good, fixed the locker and finished the day.My question is,what is the proper torque on these bolts and should i use blue loctite? Bolts are 3/8x1 24TPI grade 8.Standard torque is 27-38 ft-lbs.Any advice would be appreciated,thanks.Paul.

I'd also check the backlash on the gears just to ensure it's within range

Torque 75lbs red loctite after cleaning the bolts or getting new ones. sometimes I have heard with a cheap gear set it produces vibrations enough to loosen even properly torqued and prepped bolts.
