I've done a SOA, full width dana 44 on a cj7, will it be necessary to run a spacer under the high steer arm for clearance from the leaf spring? I'm only running the drag link to the arm and not the tie rod.

it depends on how much lift you have, and how much clearance you have for the drag link. Ideally, you want the drag link and tie rod to be parallel. This can be accomplished with a spacer under the steering arm, a dropped pitman arm, or both.

For my future reference...

Since the spacer means longer studs, I like to hear from folks running spaced arms... are you seeing more issues (nuts/studs loosening = arms being wrenched off the studs, etc) from this over arms mounted closer to the knuckles??

I'm running a 1 inch spacer under my arm. Running drag link only with spring over. thought I had a photo, will snap one when I get home from work.

any one have pics of a high steer setup on a dana 44? I am trying to figure out if I want to run this setup on my yj. thanks
You mean like mine?
